Action / RPG with elements of survival, transferring players for several years in advance after the events of the first part. The epidemic, which originated in the town of Los Ricos, spread to neighboring cities and states, and then to the whole world. A normal and full life has been left in the past, now the main value is the ability to build a safe camp and live up to the morning.
Key features of How To Survive 2 do not bring revolution - players will have to look for food, water, clothes and shelter from crowds of dead people. During the one-year test in early access the game received a new multiplayer mode, great game locations, the ability to create several characters for different game modes and, of course, a new craft system that allows creating hundreds of items.
Before the release, the game received several absolute novelties: a new system for storing character and camp data was introduced, which would give four slots for characters and five slots for the camp. Characters can easily play on different servers (offline, public, private), without changing their characteristics. Camps can also be opened or closed, transferring to different modes. In addition, all data and save are now stored in the cloud, which will not give them an abyss.
Not without content update - in the game debut new zombies and weapons. For example, in some parts of your camp you will encounter a cute zombie rabbit that you do not need to feed, especially parts of your body. Some types of high-level weapons can now be safely crafted, gathering enough resources. The rewards are now more balanced and will not spoil the mood.
In the new cooperative mode, you can now invite up to 16 people, however, only four can play at the same time on the network. The same four players can play sitting on the same couch. By the way, local players can now join the multiplayer game, increasing the game session to 16 survivors. In each mode, the complexity of the game will change dynamically, monitor your style of play and the total number of players.
Despite a year of early access, the game receives mostly positive ratings - to the pluses can be attributed a huge amount of new loot, zombies, crafting and improved functionality. The game map has become more detailed, and new locations will not leave you indifferent.
